Dark Days, Cold Nights
with nothing to light the
path of life.
Nothing but the bright red light
in the distance.
It gets brighter as she moves closer.
she seems so different,
Features the same
yet more beautiful.
The red light isn't
as it used to be, almost as if it
were tainted with the blood of broken hearts.
I Can't see her as i once did,
As a different side of her breaks through.
A side more vulnerable.
Two steps forward one step back.
blindly stepping threw the maze of lights,
i just want to help guide you.
With each step into the
future the past becomes more blurry,
till it never existed
then her smile shines though.
